			  What to Expect the Day of Your Procedure
			  
			    -  Upon arrival to the Center, please check in at the receptionist desk
-  The receptionist will request your photo ID, insurance card, list of current medications and any co-pay required per your insurance benefits. She will give you a few forms to read and complete.
-  A nurse or assistant will escort you to our Pre Procedure area to prepare you.
-  You will be asked to change into a gown, removing all jewelry and instructed to lie on the stretcher.
-  The nurse will ask you questions regarding your medical history and take your vital signs. An Intravenous will be started to provide fluids.
-  If you wear dentures, you may be asked to remove them. A denture cup will be provided.
-  You will have opportunity to speak with the anesthesia provider and your physician.
-  When the physician is ready for your procedure, you will be moved to the procedure room.
-  After the procedure is completed, you will be transferred to the PACU where you will be monitored by a nurse.
-  You will be given written discharge instructions which will be reviewed with you by the nurse.
-  When you meet the discharge criteria and have spoken with your physician, you will be discharged in the care of a responsible adult.
